Where can I find the sequence of the Yeast ORF clones?
To find the sequence of the ORF, you will have to go to the SGD website link : http://db.yeastgenome.org/cgi-bin/locus.pl?locus=BUL1
You will need to use the yeast systematic name for the clone (ex. YBR133C). Enter that into the search on the SGD website and the page for that gene will come up. Over on the right had side of the page under the “Retrieve sequence” bullet, choose coding sequence from the drop down menu and then click “view”. This should take you to the coding sequence (ORF) for this yeast gene.
