What is the frame of the Vidal Human ORFeome clones?
The reading frame of the ORF in the BG1805 vector is established by the six A residues in the Gateway site. If an ORF is in frame with these two codons (AAA AAA), then it will be in frame with all NH-terminal fusions that are also in frame with the AAA AAA codons. It is irrelevant which Gateway cassette is used with respect to the cloned ORF provided that the ORF is in the same frame as the AAA AAA codons.
