Are there any restrictions for use of sequence information for pre-designed siRNAs?
There are no restrictions on the disclosure of individual or SMARTpool siRNA sequences if required for publication. However, disclosure to third parties is generally not allowed, and public disclosure of more than 1% of sequences from a Dharmacon siRNA Library, in print or electronically, is prohibited without written permission. To obtain permission, please send or e-mail your request to Ts.firstname.lastname@example.org and include the Order number, siRNA library catalog number, and Journal or publication where the information will be published.
As before, Dharmacon owns the siRNA designs, and certain sequences may be patent pending. However, to foster freedom of discovery and research advancement, the customer shall retain all rights to any invention or discovery it develops using these sequences.
