What is the purpose of the cis-acting termination region (CTS) on your viral vectors?

The cis-acting termination region (CTS) for all of our lentiviral vectors works with the central polypurine tract (cPPT) to form the Central DNA loop. It is the fully formed loop that acts as the nuclear localization signal to get the viral genome into the nucleus.
